I was raised in Alaska, the product of a pipeline love story and a hippy dream. My childhood was steeped in wild salmon and garden vegetables. I moved to Washington in 1999, unsure of what I was looking for, and found my muse in the Northwest’s incredible bounty. I cooked my way around Seattle, got married, then cooked my way around the world. I now make my home on Bainbridge Island with my wife and our sons, also the home of Hitchcock, my first restaurant and my flagship.
